One of Marge Simpson's older, unmarried, chain-smoking, twin sisters, Patty Bouvier clerks at the Department of Motor Vehicles and harbors a passionate disdain for Homer. She hates Homer so much she would rather allow a dangerously incompetent driver on the road than miss a chance for a joke at Homer's expense.
